PROPERTIES

Bovine serum albumin, BSA (>98% purity) stock solution prepared from bovine plasma originating from non-BSE affected countries.

 

Validated for use in haemostasis research through extensive evaluation in activity methods of several coagulation factors.

STABILITY

An opened vial is stable for one month at 2-8°C provided there is no contamination by microorganisms.

The solution may be frozen and is stable for at least one year at -20°C or below.

APPLICATION

For use as a bulking agent in solutions containing sensitive proteins. A suitable final concentration of BSA is 0.1 - 1%.
